SmartSource Inc is seeking a Pre-Sales Design Engineer in Title Pre-Sales Design Engineer Salary Open Length of contract two to 3 mons Start date within 30 days Hours 40 hours weekly Location Greenville SC Responsibilities Provide Pro-AV design services to our customers. Consult with our customers over the phone and through email to design Pro-AV systems, recommend products, and work with integrators to provide services. Perfect candidate is likely someone who has both sales and technical experience. An installer who has advanced his career into design is a good description of this guy as well. Strong understanding of commercialinstitutional AV technology applications and operations, including audio systems, video display technology, integrated controls, audiovideo teleconferencing, digital signage, etc. Infocomm, Certified Technology Specialist CTS certification desirable Basic technical understanding of related communications technologies i.e., IT, telecommunications, communications cabling, etc. Strong verbal and written correspondence abilities Provide technical support in a comprehensive, thorough, detailed and time sensitive manner. Troubleshoot and resolve audio visual equipment problems, hardware and software in a timely fashion.
